EXPEDIENT MEDSTAFF

Postby NurseRecruiterLisa on Tue Oct 21, 2008 8:00 am

EXPEDIENT MEDSTAFF

Hello! My name is Lisa, I’m with Expedient Medstaff. We are a nationwide staffing agency and we currently have had tremendous success placing nurses in every specialty across the country.

We have been in business for eleven years now. We are an industry leader in placing traveling professionals in settings that create a win-win relationship and for them and the facility. We are JCAHO accredited, so we are held to the same high standards as the facilities we place our candidates in.

I am a recruiter that believes in focusing on honesty, integrity, and valuing nurses I work with. I have a high retention rate with nurses I place as a result of these values.

If things aren't headed in the direction you would like them to or you just get curious as to what we have to offer, I would be happy to discuss with you the many benefits of being a part of the Expedient Medstaff team.

Nationwide can contact me. I am working for flexcare staffing and they have been good to me but I need work in California, that is where I am at now...on a travel assignment that is about to end. (naturallyredonthehead@yahoo.com)

Thanks

Also, anyone willing to mentor me a bit? I have been a nurse for 2 years and 4 months....(I can tell you the days and hours if need be :D ) I am "older" which is NOT old but I graduated nursing school at 42. It seems that just about every place I've worked I run into nurses who love to "eat their young." I have tried everything......like asking them questions, when I don't know the answer....and running to help them care for their patients. (I have worked in ICU almost all of my nursing career) so helping each other out is required. But I have just gotten the sense that maybe I should not be a nurse....maybe it is too tough for me to handle......just a little advice needed.
Thanks in advance.

I just signed up for this site, this is my first post. I am also an "older" nurse- I've been a nurse for 27 yrs.
I also worked for flexcare and came to CA from AR to work about 18 mths ago. I loved my recruiter at
flexcare, but decided to work in a permanent position for a couple of years in the hospital where I was working.
I am now about to go back to AR for three mths taking a temporary break . (expecting a new
grandbaby in November) I hope to return to Ca and also return to travel nursing in the winter or spring.
I can't see working anywhere else b/c of the ratios here, at least for a while. I think it is definately harder
to fit in with other RN staff as a traveler. Your post caught my eye since you also worked for flexcare. Are
you still in CA working as a travel nurse? I would be interested in hearing about your experiences.
